England delivered a dominant performance against India in the third T20 International at Trent Bridge, defeating the visitors by a massive 125 runs. With this victory, England strengthened their position in the five-match series and exposed several weaknesses in India’s batting lineup.

Batting first, England posted an imposing total of 201/7 in 20 overs. Opener Phil Salt led the charge with a brilliant 70, while Sam Curran added an unbeaten 41 in the final overs. India’s bowlers struggled to contain the aggressive English batting attack.

In reply, India’s batting collapsed under pressure and the team was bowled out for just 76 runs. England’s fast bowlers dominated throughout the innings. Josh Tongue claimed four wickets, while Jofra Archer picked up three crucial wickets. India’s captain admitted after the match that the team needs to improve quickly before the fourth T20 in Bristol.

The defeat has raised concerns about India’s batting form, but the team still has an opportunity to bounce back in the remaining matches.
