GHAZIABAD: Popular YouTuber and former Bigg Boss 17 contestant Anurag Dobhal has been shifted from the intensive care unit (ICU) to a hospital ward after undergoing orthopedic surgery, even as police investigate the circumstances of the high-speed car crash that left him seriously injured.

The 28-year-old content creator, widely known as “UK07 Rider,” met with the accident on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway late Saturday night, March 7. He was driving his Toyota Fortuner from Dehradun to Delhi when the vehicle crashed into a road divider, flipped over, and landed in the opposite lane, leaving the SUV extensively damaged.

Health Update: Stable After Surgery

According to Dr. Preeti Goel, Medical Superintendent of Max Super Speciality Hospital in Vaishali, Dobhal is currently stable.

“Dobhal has been shifted from the ICU to a room. He is haemodynamically stable and is on room air oxygen. He has been taken to the operating theatre for orthopaedic surgery of his right hip,” Dr. Goel stated.

The hospital has restricted visitors, allowing only his wife, Ritika, to see him. “No one else has been allowed to meet him, and he is being kept under intense observation,” the doctor added.

The Police Investigation: Was It Intentional?

The accident occurred near the Hawa Hawai restaurant in the Masuri police station area of Ghaziabad. Police are examining multiple factors, including Dobhal’s mental state and his actions leading up to the incident.

Surendra Nath Tiwari, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rural), told PTI, “Only Dobhal can explain his mental state at the time he crashed his vehicle into the divider. We are examining CCTV footage to determine if he lost control of the steering or deliberately rammed the vehicle.”

Investigators believe the SUV may have been traveling at speeds exceeding 150 kmph at the time of the collision.

The ‘Final Ride’ Livestream

A chilling detail has emerged as a key focus of the investigation. According to police, Dobhal was livestreaming on social media during the drive, referring to it as his “final ride.”

Videos circulating online show Dobhal hosting a live stream on Instagram on the night of March 7, reportedly with an audience of about 80,000 viewers. During the broadcast, Dobhal is heard using the phrase “last ride,” which immediately raised concerns among those watching.
