Malayalam superstar Mammootty recently revealed how he was ‘cheated’ into joining the Lokah cinematic universe as the voice of Moothon, the leader of the superheroes. In a hilarious revelation, the actor explained that he had no idea he was actually part of the film.
Mammootty is not physically seen in Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, but his voice and a shot of his hand holding a stick marked the arrival of Moothon in the Malayalam superhero franchise.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Mammootty explained how he became a part of the movie without fully being aware of what he was asked to do.
“They didn’t tell me that I am there [in the movie] initially. He [Dulquer Salmaan, producer of Lokah] did not come. His friend came, asked me to give a voice – Vendam (No). That is the only thing I did. Even the hand used in the film is not mine. When the film came, they said, ‘It is you and your hand’.”
Laughing it off, he said, “Now, it has become my responsibility to act. Actually, they cheated me. That’s the story behind it.”
