A viral controversy erupted this week after a podcast episode featuring brand strategist **Kaveri Baruah discussed an alleged list of “42 dos and don’ts” associated with Tollywood star Allu Arjun and his team. The episode, hosted on the Sweekriti Talks podcast, was taken down by the podcaster after it gained widespread attention and sparked online harassment and legal threats.

What Triggered the Controversy?

The issue began when Kaveri, appearing on the podcast, claimed she was given a note with 42 rules to follow before meeting Allu Arjun, including instructions such as not making eye contact or shaking his hand. This clip quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing reactions from netizens and fans.

Soon after the video went viral, Allu Arjun’s team issued a statement calling these claims “baseless and untrue”. The statement emphasized that the actor “has always conducted himself with the utmost dignity and honour,” and announced that their legal team is initiating defamation proceedings against those responsible for spreading the allegations.

Podcaster’s Response and Backlash

In response to the backlash and reported harassment, the podcast host Sweekriti publicly announced that she removed the episode from YouTube and Instagram. She shared on her Instagram stories that the decision was made to protect her guest’s career from online bullying and coordinated harassment allegedly linked to Allu Arjun’s PR machinery and bot accounts. In her posts, she also referred to Allu Arjun and his team as “sheer losers” and “power hungry,” sparking further debate online.

Sweekriti also claimed she personally faced targeting and abuse online, lamenting that “a woman can’t live in peace and make content on the internet” amid the controversy.

Industry Reaction and Defense

The debate has drawn attention from fans and industry peers. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 co-star publicly defended the actor, condemning the viral allegations as negative propaganda and praising his humility and respectful behaviour on set. This response reflects a broader pushback against the original claims.

As of now, the original podcast episode remains private, and the brand strategist involved has reportedly deactivated her social media profiles.
