HYDERABAD: The celebrations for newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda continue tonight with a grand wedding reception in Hyderabad, and the guest list is a dazzling mix of the biggest names from both Telugu cinema and Bollywood.

The couple, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur on February 26, will host the reception at the Taj Krishna hotel at 7 PM on March 4. The event is strictly invite-only, with security and logistical considerations leading to a restricted guest list.

Who’s on the Guest List?

According to sources, the reception will see a confluence of stars from across the Indian film industry.

From Bollywood:

  • Karan Johar (Filmmaker)
  • Shahid Kapoor (Actor)
  • Kriti Sanon (Actor)
  • Mrunal Thakur (Actor)
  • Filmmaker Homi Adjania (Director of Rashmika’s upcoming film Cocktail 2)

The presence of Shahid, Kriti, and Homi Adjania suggests the Cocktail 2 team is coming together to celebrate their leading lady.

From Tollywood:

  • Allu Arjun
  • Ram Charan
  • Sreeleela

Many other stars from the Telugu film industry are also expected to grace the occasion.

An Invite-Only Affair

The couple had previously released a statement clarifying the nature of the event, emphasizing that it would be strictly invite-only. Following advice from the police regarding potential crowding and traffic issues, the guest list was further restricted.

“Your safety and happiness mean everything to us. We are deeply thankful for your love and blessings, and we request your cooperation in helping us keep this celebration safe and joyful for everyone,” the couple had written.

Organizers have indicated that if necessary, additional receptions may be considered at a later stage to accommodate more well-wishers in a structured manner.

From Udaipur to Hyderabad: A Multi-City Celebration

The Hyderabad reception is the latest in a series of celebrations by the popular couple.

  • The Wedding (Feb 26): A private, intimate ceremony in Udaipur, honoring both Telugu and Kodava traditions, attended only by close family and select friends.
  • Celebrating with the Nation (March 1): The couple sent trucks carrying sweets to major cities including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. They also organized Annadanam (food donation) at 16 temples across India.
  • Hyderabad Reception (March 4): A star-studded, invite-only event to celebrate with industry colleagues and friends.

Their public note about the nationwide celebrations read: “To the beautiful people of this country. You have always been a part of our journeys and our love. And it would make us truly happy to celebrate our wedding with all of you. And how does India celebrate everything? With Mithai and Food.”

The celebrations beautifully balance intimate personal moments with a grand, nationwide sharing of joy, reflecting the couple’s deep connection with their fans.
