As the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off this week, Coors Light is making sure fans don’t have to leave their seats to grab a refill. The beer brand has unveiled the “Tallerboy,” a massive 18-inch canister designed to hold and chill three full 12-ounce Coors Light cans at once .
What is the Tallerboy?
The Tallerboy is a limited-edition, double-walled stainless steel canister that functions like a giant koozie. Standing 18 inches tall, the device allows fans to stack three standard beers inside, keeping them cold with a twist-top lid. However, to drink the beer, you still have to remove the cans individually .
“Extra long celebrations deserve something that allows you to hold onto those game moments a little longer, and Tallerboy does exactly that — three cans, one canister and a whole lot of extra Os.” — Matt Carpenter, Vice President of Marketing at Coors Light
Inspired by the ‘Coooooors Call’
The elongated design is a physical manifestation of the brand‘s summer “Coooors Call“ campaign. The campaign features legendary Argentine-American soccer announcer Andrés Cantor, who is famous for his iconic, elongated “GOOOOAL!” shout .
In a playful nod to Cantor‘s style, the branding on the canister has also been stretched, featuring a logo with 14 “O”s (“Coooooooooooooors“) to mimic the sound of cheering fans .
Price and Availability
The Tallerboy is a collectible item rather than a standard six-pack. It is available exclusively online through the Coors Light shop for $30 .
Given the high demand, the brand is releasing the product in two separate “drops“:
- Drop 1: June 11, 2026
- Drop 2: June 18, 2026
Fans are limited to one order per customer, and supplies are expected to run out quickly .
A Sibling Rivalry in the Fridge
Interestingly, Coors Light is not the only Molson Coors brand getting in on the oversized collectible action. Its rival sibling, Miller Lite, recently launched the “MVP Matchball”——a soccer ball that is 50% larger than a regulation ball and capable of holding up to 12 beer cans. It retails for $19.75, referencing the year Miller Lite was founded (1975) .
Sweepstakes and Celebrations
Beyond the product launch, Coors Light is inviting fans to participate in the “Coooors Call“ experience. Supporters can submit their own recordings of elongated goal calls on the brand‘s website for a chance to win prizes worth up to $10,000 .
With the World Cup kicking off on June 11, these oversized novelties are expected to be a hit among fans looking to celebrate in style without missing a single kick .
