New Delhi: Amid ongoing legal and financial troubles following his surrender at Tihar Jail in a long-running cheque-bounce case, Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has received overwhelming support from the Hindi film industry — and his wife, Radha Yadav, has publicly expressed her gratitude.
Radha Yadav, speaking to the media through PTI, thanked fellow actors and industry colleagues for standing by her husband during this difficult period. “Everybody has stood by him. The industry has been supportive. A big thank you to everyone who is coming forward to help,” she said, acknowledging the film fraternity’s efforts.
Rajpal Yadav’s legal troubles stem from a ₹9 crore cheque-bounce case linked to loans taken to finance his directorial venture. After multiple attempts to extend deadlines to repay the outstanding amount were denied by the Delhi High Court, the actor surrendered at Tihar Jail earlier this month.
Following his surrender, several prominent figures from the film industry have stepped up to offer financial and moral support to Yadav and his family. Actors such as Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Chaudhary, and music composer Rao Inderjit Yadav have reportedly reached out with offers of assistance, and encouraged others in the fraternity to do the same.
Other notable Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, and filmmaker David Dhawan, are also said to have extended support in various forms, although details of the assistance are yet to be fully clarified. Goldie Jain, Yadav’s long-time manager, confirmed that many well-known industry names have contacted the family with offers of help.
The actor’s bail hearing is scheduled for February 12, 2026, and Radha Yadav’s expression of gratitude highlights the sense of solidarity in Bollywood in rallying around one of its own during a testing period.
