The much-anticipated 55th film of actor Dhanush, previously known by its tentative title ‘D55’, has been officially named ‘Om’. The makers announced the title along with a gripping first-look teaser, titled ‘Om First Strike’, on Thursday. The film is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide on October 16, 2026 .
Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who earned widespread acclaim for his directorial debut Amaran, the film marks the first collaboration between the actor and director. The project is produced by Dhanush under his home banner Wunderbar Films, alongside Shraddha Agrawal of R Take Studios .
A Star-Studded Ensemble Cast
