Actor Nani, in a promotional interview with Adivi Sesh, praised his recent film Dacoit, calling it better than his films Major and Goodachari. However, he also made a surprising admission: he wouldn’t have produced the film himself.
Dacoit, which hit theatres on April 10, 2026, is witnessing a steady run at the box office while also receiving appreciation from members of the film industry.

Speaking about the film, Nani said he found Dacoit more engaging than Sesh’s earlier works like Major and Goodachari. In contrast, he described Dacoit as a more original and risky attempt.
Why He Wouldn’t Have Produced It
Nani’s candid admission stems from the film’s unconventional nature. He recognized the risk in the premise but was impressed by how it was executed on screen.
